Paraprofessional - Indy West Early Learning Center

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• First Aid/CPR certification
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and families
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Prior relevant experience (preferred)
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality

• Maintain a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
• Affirm and actively support the school's Statement of Faith
• Serve as a Christian role model in attitude, speech, and actions
• Demonstrate a commitment to biblical standards and the school's Lifestyle Statement
• Exhibit integrity, spiritual maturity, and a clear Christian testimony
• Be an active member of an evangelical church

Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise and positively interact with students throughout the day
• Support a classroom environment conducive to learning
• Aid students with teacher-assigned learning tasks
• Monitor classrooms during small group or individual instruction
• Provide support during lunch, recess, and other duties
• Assist with before/aftercare programs (AM or PM shift)
• Communicate regularly with supervising teachers
• Maintain confidentiality regarding students and families
• Participate in training and professional development
• Assume substitute teaching duties if needed (with proper certification)
• Demonstrate professionalism and a positive attitude at all times
• Follow biblical principles, including the Matthew 18 model for conflict resolution
