WHO WE ARE

Hope is a clinical, educational, and therapeutic provider for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder. Our mission is to provide the best services in the most inclusive environments to encourage persons to fulfill their individual potential through evidence-based treatment, advocacy, and community education.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

• 19 years of age or older
• A High School Diploma or equivalent education
• A valid Illinois Driver’s license
• A Paraprofessional licensure for Illinois
• Able to lift, push, pull, and carry 50 pounds
• Able to stand, walk, grasp, reach, stoop, crouch, crawl, and run

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Support students in a classroom setting at the Hope Learning Academy
• Complete appropriate data tracking and entry
• Provide instruction and assistance that meets students’ Individual Education Plan (IEP) goals and objectives
• Encourage student independence while following the classroom schedule and implementing educational programs
• Foster a stimulating, accepting, and safe learning environment for all students

WHAT WE PREFER

• An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in an education or human services related field
• Experience working with people with developmental disabilities
• Classroom setting experience

PAY & SCHEDULE

Hourly Rate: $17.15- $18.80
Shift: Monday - Friday 7:30am-3:30pm
