Paraprofessional EI-Emotionally Impaired 26-ESP-10 (3 positions available)

About the role

The Special Education/Paraprofessional will support students with special needs in an inclusive classroom setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in providing instruction to students with special needs
• Support students in developing social skills and behavior management
• Participate in team meetings to discuss student progress and strategies
• Help implement individualized education plans (IEPs)

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field
• Current certification as a Special Education Teacher or Paraprofessional
• Experience working with students with special needs
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of educational technology and resources

Skills

• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay

Salary range: $30,000 - $40,000 annually
