Paraprofessional - Center Based - 1.0 FTE

Center-Based Paraprofessional position for the 2026-2027 school year.

About the Role

The Center-Based Paraprofessional assists in the implementation of intensive instructional programs, including assisting with daily living and behavioral skills, and sometimes providing medical care under the direction of a licensed nurse.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience working with children, preferred
• Current Certification of Health, including negative TB test
• Completion of clear, criminal background check

Requirements

• All employees must have a current TB test (Tuberculosis). If you've had a recent TB test (less than 12 months ago), we can accept a copy of your test results. If it's been more than 1 year ago, you will be required to obtain a new test. Employees are responsible for the cost of the test.
• Must submit pre-employment physical prior to first day of work.

Pay

Starting salary: $17.50/hour.

Schedule

Classified position, 174 workday calendar, 7.5 hours/day (37.5 hours/week).
