Paraprofessional - Center Based - 1.0 FTE

About the role

The Center-Based Paraprofessional assists in the implementation of intensive instructional programs, including assisting with daily living and behavioral skills, and sometimes providing medical care under the direction of a licensed nurse.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience working with children, preferred
• Current Certification of Health, including negative TB test
• Completion of clear, criminal background check

Pay

$17.50/hour — commensurate with experience

Schedule

Classified position on a 174 workday calendar, 7.5 hours per day (37.5 hours per week)

Requirements

• Current TB test (Tuberculosis). If the test was completed less than 12 months ago, a copy of the results may be accepted; otherwise, a new test is required.
• Employees are responsible for the cost of the TB test.
• Must submit pre-employment physical prior to first day of work.
