About the role
Rite of Passage Team is hiring a Paraprofessional at The Dermott Juvenile Treatment Center (D.J.T.C) in Dermott, Arkansas.
Responsibilities
- Support students in their academic and personal development
- Create a safe and supportive environment for the youth served
- Assist in maintaining a structured and disciplined atmosphere
- Participate in activities designed to foster self-discipline and self-respect
- Provide guidance and support to students as needed
Requirements
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Pass a criminal background check
- Pass a drug test
- Pass a physical examination
- Pass a search of the child and adult abuse central registry

- Ability to work effectively with youth
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
Skills
- Excellent communication skills

Schedule
Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM
