Setting
- Classroom Services
- Exclusive school placement (no travel required)
- Dates: September 2026 - June 2027
- Hrs: 8:30 am - 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday
Responsibilities
- Assist Classroom Teachers: Provide support by helping with instructional activities, managing classroom materials, and maintaining a positive learning environment.
- Support Students' Learning Needs: Work closely with individual or small groups of students to reinforce lessons, assist with assignments, and provide accommodations for those with special educational needs.
- Promote Positive Behavior: Help monitor and guide student behavior, ensuring adherence to school policies and fostering a safe, respectful learning atmosphere.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree or at least 60 college credits
- Pass the Paraprofessional Praxis Pro Exam
- Experience with toileting, aggressive behaviors, and working with low-functioning populations
