Paraprofessional
About the role
Join our team as a Paraprofessional and make a difference in the lives of others. You’ll work at one of our year-round Manchester locations, gaining hands-on experience within a structured school system. With intimate class sizes of 10 students or less, you’ll directly engage with and learn about a variety of psychological and neurological disabilities, including clients who have experienced trauma and abuse, as well as those with non-verbal and behavioral disorders. This interactive role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, improving relationship skills, developing coping mechanisms, or teaching subjects, making you a needed and trusted role model in a team-oriented environment.
Qualifications
- High School education or GED (Bachelor’s Degree preferred)
- Two (2) years of practical experience working with children is preferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Minimum 21 years of age
Schedule
7:00 AM–3:00 PM, Monday to Friday, year-round.
Pay
$20.00–$25.00 hourly, based on qualifications, related experience, and education.
