Responsibilities
- Facilitates student work and implements classroom routine.
- Implements lesson plans designed by teacher.
- Works directly with students, individually or in groups, on assigned programs.
- Completes daily documentation.
- Keeps classroom & equipment organized.
- Participates on education committees as assigned.
- Distributes classroom materials.
- Participates in field trips and special events.
- Participates in collaboration within the department and all other disciplines.
- Participates in quality improvement activities.
- Responsible for daily classroom attendance.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Paraprofessional certification is required.
- Experience working with students with complex medical needs and intellectual disabilities.
- Ability to pass criminal background check and drug testing.
- Experience working with various socioeconomic populations is a plus.
- Must be able to lift, push, pull or carry a minimum of 50 lbs.

Pay
$18.00 to $22.50 per hour commensurate to education and experience.
Schedule
Full Time; Non-Exempt; Shift: 7a - 3:30pm
