Paraprofessional position at Broadmoor Elementary supporting students with diverse learning and physical needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing age-appropriate instructional techniques.
• Support behavioral management in the classroom.
• Operate and assist with adaptive equipment such as electric wheelchairs, dynavox devices, braces, and lifts.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check prior to hire.

Qualifications (Preferred)

• CPR and First Aid certifications (may be required at hire).
• Knowledge of child development and behavioral management strategies.
• Experience with adaptive equipment and assistive technologies.

Pay

$21.00 - $24.02 per hour, based on the Classified Salary Schedule. Compensation determined by education and experience.

Schedule

• 7.5 hours per day, Monday through Friday.
• 182 days per year (full school-year schedule).
• Starting date: August 17, 2026.
