About the Role

This position supports instructional and behavioral needs within the school district, working with students who require adaptive equipment and specialized techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assist with age-appropriate instructional techniques under the direction of certified staff.
• Support behavioral management and child development strategies.
• Operate and assist with adaptive equipment such as electric wheelchairs, dynavox devices, braces, and lifts.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check prior to hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certifications (may be required at hire).
• Knowledge of child development, behavioral management, and instructional techniques.
• Experience with adaptive equipment (e.g., electric wheelchair, dynavox, braces, lifts).

Pay

$21.00 - $24.02 per hour, based on the Classified Salary Schedule. Compensation determined by education and experience.

Schedule

• 7.5 hours per day, Monday through Friday.
• 182 days per year.
