Summary of Responsibilities
- Assist student(s) with special needs throughout the day with academics and daily school routines.
- Assist the student(s) in following a strict schedule and maintaining his/her safety while school is in session.
- Support the students and teacher to ensure success of each student in meeting his/her IEP goals.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications
- MUST hold an ELS (Paraprofessional) license or Professional Educator License (PEL).
- Good written and oral communication skills, ability to communicate with all levels of staff, parents and students.
- Basic math and computer skills as well as some general office skills are needed.
Pay
$18.03 – $19.28 per hour. Additional stipends available based upon assignment.
