Position Summary The ideal candidate for this position possesses high attention to detail, strong written communication, and effective time management, combined with strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset. This position is suitable for a candidate who enjoys conducting technical research and analyzing client data behind the scenes rather than leading client relationships. In this role, you will support the Financial Planner with data entry, meeting preparation and client follow-up. You will develop expertise in financial planning software and firm processes. We provide training and mentorship to ensure success. This is a salaried position with no sales, commissions or gathering assets under management. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Under the supervision of a Financial Planner, you will:Gather and maintain client dataPrepare for client meetings and follow up on action itemsUpdate and model client information in financial planning softwareGenerate financial planning reports as appropriateComplete trades and money movement in client portfoliosEnter data in tax softwareAnswer client inquiries as appropriateResearch financial planning topics as neededAssist with other projects within the firm to improve service and efficiency.
