Job Summary

Responsible for providing high quality pre-hospital and interfacility advanced life support including assessment, triage, and treatment utilizing standards and guidelines established by HCA Healthcare North Carolina MAMA Medical Director(s).

Requirements

  • Paramedic Certificate from an accredited college or Associates of Science in EMS
  • Minimum 2 years full time critical care experience at the Critical Care Paramedic level at a demanding 911 or interfacility transport service
  • Maintains current licensure and certification as a Paramedic in N.C. Office of Emergency Medical Services and will obtain S.C. prior to orientation completion
  • National Registry Paramedic
  • Maintain BCLS, ACLS, PALS, Neonatal Resuscitation Program, and advance provider ITLS or PHTLS
  • Maintain CCEMT-P, CCP-C or FP-C preferred
  • Must have a valid Class C NC driver’s license, must be 21 years old to meet Mission Health insurance guidelines
  • Maintain FEMA 100, 200, 700, & 800
  • Must attend 80% of monthly scheduled team meetings

Preferences

  • College education (or equivalent); bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 3-5 years full time critical care experience at the Critical Care Paramedic level at a demanding 911 or interfacility transport service
