Job Description
As a Paramedic PRN at MercyOne, you will Respond to 911 calls and interfacility and tiered transfer requests, providing direct patient care within the Central Ambulance service-area. Under general supervision of a Registered Nurse, assist with delegated tasks of direct and indirect patient care within CCH’s Emergency Department. Initiate and provide care within the scope of practice as defined by law providing emergency care to a wide range of patients including pediatric, adult, and geriatric.
Education
- Licensed State of Iowa Paramedic (required), must maintain active licensure.
- Complete required continuing education every two years to maintain current certification status.
