About the Role
As a Paramedic, you will join a dedicated team of professionals delivering quality, value, and access in 21st-century healthcare. You will assess, stabilize, and provide emergency/urgent care for patients with acute illnesses or injuries, bridging the gap between home and hospital. This role includes performing advanced life support, administering medications, managing airways, ensuring safe patient transport or transition to the next level of care, and meticulously documenting all actions while maintaining equipment.
Responsibilities
- Start IVs and monitor patients.
- Administer medication for various reactions as needed.
- Enact code policy as required.
- Assist with patient lifting as needed.
- Administer flu vaccinations.
- Answer telephones and verify appointments in advance of scheduled exams.
- Dispense and/or explain preps for different exams.
- Perform additional duties to ensure cohesive office operations.
Requirements
- Local candidate in the Sarasota area, willing to work between offices in the Sarasota-Fort Myers region.
- Reliable transportation.
- High school diploma or GED.
- BLS (Basic Life Support Certification) required.
- NREMT and ACLS certifications required.
- Ability to relate to the public professionally and courteously, regardless of background.
- Respond to emergency situations calmly and appropriately.
- Successful completion of an accredited program, state and federal licenses (as applicable), and appropriate registrations/certifications.

- Structured work approach with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to interact effectively with doctors, staff, patients, vendors, peers, and management.
- Additional medical-related knowledge preferred.
Pay
$25–$30 per hour.
