Paramedic - Mobile Integrative Health

About the role

The Paramedic - Mobile Integrative Health role provides direct, non-urgent patient care and patient education in patient homes and community settings.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct, non-urgent patient care and patient education in patient homes and community settings.
• Works with patients to manage chronic conditions.
• Uses EMR systems and basic computer skills.
• Communicates effectively with patients and other healthcare providers.

Requirements

• Completion of Paramedic Course required.
• Current state licensure as Paramedic required.
• Active BLS certification required.
• Active state driver’s license required.
• IBSC-CP (International Board of Specialty Certification – Community Paramedicine) within 6 months, CHW (Community Health Worker) Core Competency within 6 months, AAS in Public Safety, Public Health or health related field preferred.
• Two years of clinical experience as an EMS provider.

Preferred Skills/Requirements

• Community/service area experience preferred.
• CPI or alternate de-escalation training preferred.
