About the role
The Paramedic - Mobile Integrative Health role provides direct, non-urgent patient care and patient education in patient homes and community settings.
Responsibilities
- Provides direct, non-urgent patient care and patient education in patient homes and community settings.
- Works with patients to manage chronic conditions.
- Uses EMR systems and basic computer skills.
- Communicates effectively with patients and other healthcare providers.
Requirements
- Completion of Paramedic Course required.
- Current state licensure as Paramedic required.
- Active BLS certification required.
- Active state driver’s license required.
- IBSC-CP (International Board of Specialty Certification – Community Paramedicine) within 6 months, CHW (Community Health Worker) Core Competency within 6 months, AAS in Public Safety, Public Health or health related field preferred.
- Two years of clinical experience as an EMS provider.
Preferred Skills/Requirements
- Community/service area experience preferred.
- CPI or alternate de-escalation training preferred.
