Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality Advanced Life Support (ALS) care during emergency responses and interfacility transports
• Perform patient assessments and make sound clinical decisions in dynamic environments
• Operate ambulances safely and professionally
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, dispatchers, hospitals, and first responders
• Maintain accurate patient documentation
• Represent MedCare with professionalism, compassion, and excellent customer service
• Maintain competency on assigned and alternate transport units

Requirements

• Current Ohio Paramedic License
• American Heart Association CPR and ACLS Certification
• Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record
• Knowledge of emergency medical care and patient transport procedures
• Ability to safely lift, move, and assist patients weighing 350+ lbs with appropriate equipment and assistance
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Pay

Starting at $26.00/hour (higher based on experience)

Earn up to an additional $5/hour with shift differentials

$2,500 Hiring Bonus

Schedule

• Full-Time: 12-hour shifts, 2-week rotating schedule, Day and night shifts available
• Part-Time: 12-hour shifts, 2-week rotating schedule, Day and night shifts available

• Nights (Mon–Thurs): +$4/hr
• Nights (Fri–Sun): +$5/hr
• Weekend Days: +$4/hr
