This position is located at 40 IDX Drive, South Burlington, Vermont.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
- Current practice as a Paramedic
- Current certifications in CPR, ACLS, and PALS (Instructor status is beneficial but not required)
- Compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including certification and licensing requirements as required by the discipline
- Valid driver’s license
Desirable qualifications:
- Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree preferred
- National Registry EMT/Paramedic Certification preferred
- Additional instructor certifications (e.g., Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS), Advanced Medical Life Support (AMLS), Emergency Pediatric Care (EPC), Geriatric Emergencies for EMS (GEMS), EMS Safety)
- Minimum 2 years of field experience as an EMT/Paramedic with supervisory experience (preferred)
- Experience in a training or educational setting
Responsibilities
- Primary responsibility for classroom and lab education of Paramedic students
- Maintenance of accreditation status
- Recruitment and selection of students
