About the role
Provides advanced life support care to the sick and injured and safely transports customers of all ages to a medical facility. In addition, the paramedic assists with other services and events as directed by North Memorial Ambulance Service.

Requirements
- Education: Successfully completed paramedic training program from an accredited institution required. Associate of Science degree preferred.
- Experience: Previous ambulance experience preferred. Previous advanced life support experience preferred. For Air Care Paramedics, three (3) years of ALS experience as a Paramedic required. For Air Care Paramedics, prior flight experience preferred.
- Licenses/Certifications: Current Minnesota or Wisconsin Paramedic Certification or be able to obtain within 60 days of hire date. American Heart Association ACLS and BLS Certification or Amercian Red Cross ALS and BLS Certification upon hire or within 14 days. Valid State Class D driver's license in the state of residency with an acceptable driving record. American Heart Association or American Red Cross PALS Certification. ICS-100, ICS-200 and ICS-700 or be able to obtain within 60 days of hire date.
- Knowledge, Skills And Abilities: Demonstrated ability to organize, problem solve, make decisions during emergency situations and work independently. Possess or quickly acquire knowledge of the street and highway system within the service area.

Pay
$30.90 - $42.75 per hour, based on experience. $4,500 sign-on bonus.
Schedule
Day/Evening/Night 12 hours, weekend requirement by department rotation, call requirement none, remote or on-site on-site, FLSA status non-exempt.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
