Job Summary and Qualifications
We are seeking an experienced Paramedic to join our ER team at HCA Florida West Hospital. The Department is fully equipped to handle urgent and critical emergencies, including multiple trauma cases; cardiac, neurological and pediatric emergencies; orthopedic injuries; obstetrical and gynecological cases; and other emergencies.
Essential Functions
- Practice, develop and endorse customer service skills in relationships with internal and external customers.
- Serves as the patient and family advocate with respect to the patient’s right to privacy by protecting confidential information.
- Plan and implement patient care and teaching based on a total assessment and the age of the patient.
- Evaluate and document patient response; monitor and recognize changes in physiological and psychosocial status; take appropriate action based on assessment of the patient.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the occurrence reporting system.
Job Requirements
- State of Florida Paramedic License
- One (1) year of experience preferred
