Responsibilities

  • Facilitate age-appropriate, culturally and ethnically sensitive care under the supervision of a Professional Registered Nurse and/or Physician.
  • Maintain a safe environment and educate patients and their families.
  • Collect information, communicate effectively, and utilize technology in patient care.
  • Participate in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of healthcare delivery.
  • Serve as a patient advocate and oversee unlicensed personnel.
  • Engage in teaching, performance improvement, and other assigned tasks.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (minimum education required).
  • Current certification as a Paramedic in the State of Georgia (National Registry preferred).
  • BLS Certification required.
  • If working in the Emergency Department: ALS/ACLS and PALS required (new Paramedics have 6 months to complete certifications; experienced Paramedics have 6 months to obtain PALS).

Qualifications

  • 1 year of experience as a Paramedic preferred.

Full-time, night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM.
