Paramedic - Emergency
About the role
Department: Emergency. Hospital: St. Mary of Nazareth. Location: Chicago, IL 60622.
Responsibilities
The EMT-Paramedic is responsible for the assessment and basic management of medical, trauma and environmental emergencies under the supervision of the staff nurse and/or physician. Assists with patient care based on individual patient needs within the scope of practice under the direct supervision of the ER Registered Nurse.
Qualifications
- Basic EMT-P Registry
- E.R. experience preferred
- Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
- CPI within 6 months of hire and maintain current annually
- ACLS certification upon hire and maintain current
- PALS certification upon hire and maintain current

Pay
A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $21.00 to $30.41. The exact starting compensation will be determined at the time of hire based on skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
Schedule
Full-Time, Day 12-Hour Shift, Rotating Weekends.
