About the role
The Paralegal supports the Legal Department by performing legal research, analyzing legal opinions, and preparing legal documents. This role ensures confidentiality of privileged materials and assists in-house counsel with litigation management and document compliance.
Responsibilities
- Assist in-house counsel in drafting legal documents, including affidavits, corporate resolutions, subpoena responses, and position statements.
- Assist in management of litigation matters, including gathering and examining documents and exhibits relevant to pending litigations and investigations.
- Perform legal research and analyze legal opinions to determine the applicability of statutes, case law, and rules and regulations to organizational matters.
- Review documents for compliance with procedural requirements.
- Ensure and maintain confidentiality of privileged information and materials.
- Maintain legal files, including corporate documents for organizational entities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Associate’s Degree in paralegal studies from an accredited school of paralegal training.
- Two years in a legal office environment preferred.
Pay
The salary range for this role is $30.68 - $44.71 per hour. Actual salaries depend on experience, education, and operational need.
