Paralegal, Consumer Litigation

About the role

As a Paralegal on our Consumer Litigation Team, you’ll play a key role in supporting legal matters that impact our business and customers. You’ll partner closely with an attorney and senior paralegals to respond to subpoenas and investigate claims, while keeping cases organized and moving forward. This is a fast-paced, collaborative environment where attention to detail and the ability to balance multiple priorities are critical.

Responsibilities

• Respond to subpoenas and legal requests
• Investigate claims and gather information from internal partners
• Complete administrative work to support the team
• Maintain case files, reporting, and team mailboxes
• Perform additional projects and tasks as needed, including supporting other litigation teams

Requirements

• Paralegal associate degree, certificate, or equivalent legal experience
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong written communication and letter-writing skills
• Effective verbal communication skills

Qualifications

• Paralegal experience in a law firm or in-house legal team
• Retail industry experience
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Able to work and manage caseload and tasks with some supervision

Schedule

The role is hybrid, requiring you to work on site Monday through Thursday at the Best Buy corporate office in Richfield, Minnesota. You can work virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location on Friday.
