About the role
The CLEAR Legal team is seeking an experienced Paralegal to support a wide range of commercial, compliance and regulatory, corporate and securities, labor and employment, litigation and disputes, privacy, and product-related matters. This role will play a key part in supporting CLEAR’s continued growth.
Responsibilities
- Support the Legal team across a broad range of practice areas, including commercial contracting, compliance and regulatory, corporate governance, employment, litigation, privacy, and product counseling
- Aid in drafting, reviewing, and managing a variety of agreements (e.g., vendor, customer, partnership, and data-related contracts) and help track obligations through the contract lifecycle
- Partner cross-functionally with various internal teams to support business initiatives
- Support securities and corporate governance activities, including subsidiary management, equity transactions and reporting, and coordination with CLEAR’s transfer agent
- Coordinate litigation and dispute matters, including document collection, organization, subpoenas, and outside counsel engagement
- Administer compliance program, including policy management, trainings, and internal reporting processes
- Support employment compliance efforts, including audits, tracking legal developments, and related documentation
- Support privacy and product-related legal reviews by helping track issues, document decisions, and manage workflows related to launches and vendor reviews
- Identify opportunities to improve and scale Legal team processes, systems, and workflows, and help implement those improvements
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a fast-paced, evolving environment with broad exposure to different areas of law
- Familiarity with legal workflows across one or more of the following areas: commercial contracts, corporate governance, compliance, litigation, employment, or privacy
- Clear, concise communication and the ability to work effectively with both legal and non-legal stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities
- A proactive, ownership-driven mindset with a willingness to take initiative and improve processes
- Sound judgment, discretion, and a high level of integrity
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive) and other standard business tools
- Experience with legal systems and tools (e.g., contract lifecycle management, eBilling, document management) is a plus

Pay
The base salary range for this role is $100,000 - $130,000, depending on levels of skills and experience.
