About the role
The position is 19.75 hours per week, 10 months per year.
Responsibilities
- Work with young children in a school setting
- Communicate effectively with children, teachers, and school staff
- Show motivation, interest in program goals, a positive attitude toward school
- Work with a diverse group of students
- Show good organizational skills
- Enjoy working with children and learning about their social-emotional health and development
Requirements
- Prior experience in a school setting working with young children
- Must have passed the Para Pro exam or hold an associate degree
