About the role

The position is 19.75 hours per week, 10 months per year.

Responsibilities

• Work with young children in a school setting
• Communicate effectively with children, teachers, and school staff
• Show motivation, interest in program goals, a positive attitude toward school
• Work with a diverse group of students
• Show good organizational skills
• Enjoy working with children and learning about their social-emotional health and development

Requirements

• Prior experience in a school setting working with young children
• Must have passed the Para Pro exam or hold an associate degree
