Paraeducator (Part Time)

About the role

To assist the special education teacher in working with individual students or small groups to help them achieve the skill levels commensurate with their capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing instruction and support to students with special needs.
• Work collaboratively with special education teachers to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Support students in accessing classroom materials and resources.
• Monitor student progress and communicate with parents/guardians about student performance and goals.

Requirements

• Pauline Central Primary & Pauline South Intermediate are Title 1 Schools.
• Title 1 Paraeducators must have one of the following:
• An Associate's Degree from an Accredited University
• A minimum of 48 College Credit Hours from an Accredited University
• Successful Completion of the Para Test

Qualifications

Pay

$13.53-$19.78/hour (wage determined by years of relevant experience)
