Paraeducator - ML/Resource Room
Position Information
THESE POSITIONS ARE GRANT FUNDED AND CONSIDERED SCHOOL YEAR ONLY. EMPLOYMENT ONGOING IF FUNDING CONTINUES.
About the role
The Auburn School District is seeking paraeducators to support students in Regular Education (RR) and Moderate Learning Needs (ML) classrooms. Positions are grant-funded and considered school year only. Employment will continue if funding continues.
Responsibilities
- Support teachers in implementing lesson plans and activities
- Assist students with classroom management and behavior support
- Provide additional instruction and support as needed
- Work collaboratively with special education teachers and related service providers
- Participate in professional development opportunities
Requirements
- A copy of their high school diploma
- Documentation of one of the following:
- A copy of an official college transcript indicating an AA degree or higher
- 72 quarter or 48 semester credits earned in 100 level and higher courses
- Official documentation of a passing score on Washington State approved assessment*

Qualifications
