Responsibilities

• Maintains course progress, grades, completion, and progress toward graduation.
• Communicates regularly with students and parents/guardians about academic performance and growth gaps.
• Collaborates with various stakeholders to address student needs, implement improvement plans, and recommend changes.
• Participates in the intake process for student enrollment, reviewing IEPs as needed to align academic programs with individual student needs.
• Shares information with teachers to support student's academic, social-emotional, and behavioral growth.
• Supports teachers in basic technical tasks such as enrolling students, setting up parent accounts, and resolving technical issues.
• Provides instruction on using Learning Management System and other technical tools to parents and students.
• Analyzes data to inform instructional and management practices, behavioral plans, and social-emotional development plans.
• Participates in professional development, leadership, faculty meetings, and other training sessions.
• Assists with classroom preparation, grading, attendance, and instructional center management.
• Supervises and monitors students during various activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Covers classrooms for short periods when the teacher is absent.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (read, write, and speak).
• Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical labor.
• Completion and submission of BVSD online application.
