Paraeducator II
Education/Experience
Any combination equivalent to graduation from high school or equivalent; experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting; or any combination of training and experience that could likely provide the desired knowledge and abilities.
Licenses and Other Requirements
- A valid First Aid and CPR Certificate must be obtained within six (6) months from date of hire.
Selection & Examinations
- The selection process will consist of a competitive application screening for completeness, qualifications, and experience.
- An application evaluation (weighted 10%) and an oral interview exam (weighted 90%) will be conducted.
- A passing score must be achieved on each portion to be placed on the eligibility list.
