Paraeducator / 28.75 Hours / Cheshire High School

About the role

Paraeducator to work supporting students during whole and small group instruction as well as working with individual children throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Supervising lunch and recess
• Accompanying students to specials (art, music)
• Other tasks as needed to support classroom instruction under the supervision of the classroom teacher

Requirements

Experience working with young children is necessary and an understanding of developmentally appropriate practices is desirable.

High School Diploma

Pay

$18.63 per hour (in accordance with the Agreement Between Cheshire Board of Education and CSEA/SEIU Local 2001/760 on behalf of the Cheshire Paraeducators and Lunchroom/Playground Aides)

Schedule

28.75 hours per week, 7:30 AM – 1:45 PM
