Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety of every paratrooper you work with.
- Inspect, test, and pack parachutes, their extraction and release systems, and all associated components of the parachute system.
- Responsible for the safety and repair of all parachute equipment before, during, and after an airdrop operation.
- Assemble rigging components and secure all supplies in the aircraft.
Requirements
- Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident with a valid Green Card.
- 17 to 42 years old.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Meet tattoo guidelines.
- No major law violations.
- No medical concerns.
Qualifications
- Five nationally recognized certifications available.
- 10 weeks of Basic Training.
- 12 weeks of Advanced Individual Training.
- ASVAB Score: General Maintenance (GM) 78.
- ASVAB Score: Combat (CO) 77.
