Responsibilities
- Set up and troubleshoot equipment and processes.
- Ensure product is manufactured and completed as per technical specifications.
- Complete machine setups as per standard and meet specifications.
- Establish, follow, and improve equipment and setup parameters.
- Ensure materials required for changeover are available and secured prior to setups.
- Ensure product is packed and identified as per specifications.
- Maintain accurate inventory and effective control of materials and supplies.
- Minimize downtime by ensuring proper equipment setups, material availability, and timely reporting of raw material/tooling/equipment issues.
- Coach and mentor assistants by providing clear and precise instructions.
- Ensure all safety rules and company policies/procedures are followed.
- Perform quality control checks.
- Maintain good housekeeping and use PPE as required.
- Perform related tasks as requested by supervisor.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience.
- Ability to read a tape measure.
- Detailed oriented with a sense of urgency.
- Basic computer skills (AS400, Microsoft Office).
- Basic math skills.
Skills
- Must be able to work in varying temperatures above 95 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs.
- No travel required.
