About the role
12-hour shifts: 5 am – 5 pm (days) or 5 pm – 5 am (nights).
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate machines according to production specifications
- Monitor and adjust machine settings to ensure product quality and consistency
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot any issues with the machinery
- Follow all safety, conduct, and attendance rules
- Follow assigned work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals
- Accurately enter information into production systems
- Inspect materials, products, and/or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions
- Monitor gauges, dials, and other indicators to ensure that operations conform to production or processing standards
- Consistently follow specifications, job orders, and company policies and procedures
- Ensure your work area is in compliance with safety and sanitation regulations
Requirements
- High school graduate; minimum of 1 year direct industrial experience preferred
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to efficiently multi-task
- Must be a team-player
- Must be self-motivated
- Must be detail oriented
Physical & Environmental Requirements
- Required to talk, hear, stand, and walk
- Required to stand on your feet to work for several hours at a time
- Required to correctly & safely lift, move, sort, place & carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs
- Required to use hands and fingers to handle or feel, grasp, reach, lift, push, and pull
- Occasionally required to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Production environment is typical of many indoor manufacturing facilities; P.P.E. gear is mandatory with no exceptions
- Noise generated within the facility is moderate; hearing protection may be required when using certain equipment
- Employees frequently work on or around moving and heated equipment, sometimes with extreme temperatures
- This role may require working near industrial equipment that can generate electromagnetic fields (EMF); exposure to EMFs may affect certain implanted medical devices
Pay
$19.00 – $22.00 per hour.
