We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented PAP Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for setting up CPAP equipment for patients and providing education and support. This position is available in states where a licensed Respiratory Therapist is not required.
Responsibilities
- Set up CPAP, BiPAP, and related equipment for patients in accordance with company protocols and manufacturer guidelines.
- Educate patients on proper equipment use, cleaning, and maintenance.
- Conduct mask fittings and troubleshoot comfort or compliance issues.
- Document patient interactions, setup details, and follow-up plans in the electronic medical record system.
- Coordinate with clinical teams and customer service to ensure timely delivery and setup.
- Monitor patient compliance data and escalate concerns to clinical leadership as needed.
- Maintain inventory of PAP supplies and ensure equipment is clean, functional, and ready for use.
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered service in all interactions.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
