Panel Bender Operator
About the Role
Apex Tool Group is seeking a 3rd-Shift Panel Bender Operator for our Jonesboro, AR facility. This position offers excellent benefits starting on your first day, including medical, dental, and vision insurance; a 401(k) with company match; and a health savings account.
Schedule
- 3rd shift: Monday–Thursday, 8:30 PM to 6:30 AM
- $1.00 per hour shift premium for 3rd shift
- Opportunity for overtime (more than 40 hours per week and Saturdays) as required

Responsibilities
- Set up and operate panel bender to support production.
- Set up and changeover machines, load and edit programs, and set machine parameters to ensure optimal performance.
- Install and align tooling, dies, fixtures, and gauges as required.
- Troubleshoot equipment and identify problems with tooling and machine adjustments.
- Maintain quality standards, inspecting the product and adjusting machines as needed to meet product specifications.
- Check products visually with fixed gauges and prints, including first piece inspections.
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment when required.
- Move materials within the work area.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures to produce a quality product/service, including reporting non-conforming materials.
- Report unusual conditions or questionable items to lead or supervisor.
- Adhere to all safety rules and regulations.
- Keep work area clean and orderly.
- Maintain accurate records as required.
- Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1 to 3 years’ experience operating brake press or similar; minimum 1 year required.
- Demonstrated mechanical ability.
- Able to read blueprints and interpret measurements.
- Able to accurately use caliper and tape measure to 1/32”.
- Stand and walk continuously for 8-10 hours, if necessary.
- Lift and carry 25 pounds consistently and 50 pounds occasionally.
