Mister Sparky in Fremont, CA is looking for a skilled Panel and EV Charger Installer Electrician to join our growing team! Responsibilities
- Install, upgrade, and replace residential and commercial electrical panels to code
- Install Level 2 and Level 3 EV charging stations for residential and commercial clients
- Perform load calculations and electrical system assessments prior to panel upgrades
- Ensure all work meets NEC, local codes, and safety standards
- Coordinate with inspectors and obtain necessary permits for installations
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues related to panels and EV charging systems
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding project scope, timelines, and recommendations
Requirements
- Valid California Electrician Certification (Journeyman or higher preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in panel upgrades and/or EV charger installations
- Strong knowledge of NEC codes and California electrical regulations
- Experience with major EV charging brands (ChargePoint, Tesla, Enel X, etc.) a plus
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Able to work independently and manage time efficiently in the field
