Solar Impact Inc. is searching for an experienced Solar Installer / Electrician to join our Operations Team in Gainesville, FL.

Install electrical equipment per NEC guidelines
Demonstrate proficiency in bending conduit
Collaborate with a team to complete all tasks related to solar installations (e.g., job preparation, roof layout, racking, attachment, and system monitoring)
Maintain professionalism while interacting with customers and team members
Ensure a safe work environment by complying with Solar Impact safety protocols and OSHA regulations
Keep tools and parts organized on installation vehicles
Safely operate and maintain company vehicles and equipment
Participate in all required safety and solar installation training
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth and efficient project progress
Evaluate completed projects to identify areas for improving efficiency
Meet attendance and punctuality requirements set by Solar Impact
Work overtime, nights, and weekends when necessary to meet project demands
Travel and work out of town as needed

3 to 5 years of prior electrical experience or participation in the Electrical Apprentice program strongly preferred
A valid driver's license and insurability are required
Must reside in the greater Gainesville area
A High School Diploma or GED is required
Must be capable of working at great heights
Able to kneel, bend, crouch, and climb ladders for prolonged periods
Able to stand for 10-hour shifts
Able to lift at least 75 pounds
Must be able to work in extreme hot or cold temperatures
Availability to work overtime and weekends is required
Must be safety-conscious and continuously work in a manner that prevents accidents
