About the role

The PALS (Targeted Services After School Program) at the elementary level is seeking teachers for the 2026-2027 school year. PALS teachers will work with students in grades K-5 across all elementary school sites in ISD 191.

Schedule

• Days: Tuesdays and Wednesdays
• Times: Approximately 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
• Start Date: November 10, 2026
• End Date: March 24, 2027

Pay

$32.25 per instructional hour

Responsibilities

• Teach students in grades K-5 in an after-school setting
• Utilize data to inform instruction
• Implement Project-Based Learning at the elementary level
• Engage in team teaching and youth activity coordination
• Supervise and coach students

Requirements

• Current teaching license

• Experience in Targeted Services programming
• Experience with Project-Based Learning at the elementary/middle level
• Experience utilizing data to inform instruction
• Experience with team teaching
• Experience in youth activity coordination
• Coaching experience
• Experience supervising students
