About the role

Join our dynamic healthcare team in Omaha specializing in diagnosing and treating patients making a significant impact on their lives and families.

Provide compassionate and expert care, conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support the holistic well-being of patients and their families.

Work in an academic and teaching environment educating Creighton University’s palliative fellows, residents, and medical students at CHI Health and Creighton University School of Medicine.

Recruitment of new faculty, reporting to the Chair of Medicine at Creighton University and CHI Health, leading the development of research and scholarly initiatives, accessible and timely specialty consult support, academic appointment with Creighton University School of Medicine, collaborative and open practice where your input and work are valued.

Job Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
  • Fellowship trained in Palliative Medicine
  • Active or eligible license in the state of Nebraska
  • Strong clinical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with families, and healthcare professionals
  • Able to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients and families
