Palliative Care Physician Opening in Georgia

About the role

The Palliative Care Physician will work alongside Palliative Care-certified Advanced Practice Providers to deliver patient-centered, interdisciplinary care focused on quality of life and symptom management.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive palliative care services to patients with cancer and other serious illnesses.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to address the physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs of patients and their families.
• Participate in the development and implementation of care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Provide symptom management and supportive care to improve the overall quality of life for patients.
• Engage in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with advances in palliative care.

Requirements

• Board certification in Hospice and Palliative Medicine or equivalent.
• MD or DO degree.
• Experience in palliative care or related fields is preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
