Palliative Care Physician - Inpatient Services
About the role
The University of Utah Palliative Care Services Program, within the Department of Internal Medicine's Division of General Internal Medicine, invites applications for a Clinical Track faculty position on our inpatient palliative care team. Since its founding in 2006, our program has been dedicated to providing expert, interdisciplinary care for patients with serious and complex illnesses.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate care in collaboration with a team of physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, social workers, and chaplains.
- Teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows.
- Engaging in research and quality improvement initiatives.
- Contributing to program development in a dynamic academic environment.
Requirements
- Medical degree, eligible for Utah Medical License, board certification or board eligibility in Palliative Medicine.
- Preference for candidates with fellowship training in Hospice and Palliative Care.
