About the role

Missouri Baptist Medical Center is seeking a full-time Palliative Care Physician to join a collaborative, multidisciplinary team focusing on providing compassionate, patient-centered care for individuals with serious illness, including symptom management, goals-of-care discussions, and care coordination across settings.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the medical care of assigned patients.
  • Collaborates with patients, families, and members of the health care team to ensure excellent clinical outcomes.
  • Performs and documents histories and physicals in the patient's medical record as required by hospital by-laws.
  • Supervises and instructs medical students and residents assigned to service.
  • Affords assistance in the learning needs of residents and students as assessed.

Requirements

  • Board Certified/Eligible in Hospice & Palliative Medicine.
  • Training in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or related specialty.
  • Strong communication and team-based care skills.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Requirements: Doctorate Medicine.
  • Experience: 2-5 years Supervisor Experience.
  • Licenses & Certifications: Licensed Physician.
