About the role
The Pediatric Palliative Care Physician will join the growing Supportive Care program at CHOC Children’s Hospital in Orange County, California. CHOC is a premier healthcare system dedicated to the health and well-being of children.
Responsibilities
- Provide empathetic and quality care to pediatric medical and surgical patients from birth to young adulthood.
- Contribute to the development and growth of CHOC Children’s Specialists’ program.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives.
- Participate in community outreach efforts.
- Conduct research.
- Teach residents and fellows.
- Assist with administrative tasks.
Requirements
- CA medical license or eligibility to obtain a CA medical license.
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatrics.
- Completion of fellowship in adult palliative care or pediatric palliative care (preferred).
- Current California DEA certificate.
- Current PALS certification.
Qualifications
- Bright and independent with a passion for palliative care medicine and pain management.
- Desire to contribute to the development and growth of CHOC Children’s Specialists’ program.
