About the role
Sentara Brock Cancer Center is hiring a Palliative Care Navigator-Oncology Nurse Navigator. This is a Full-Time position located in Norfolk, VA, responsible for managing care for patients in the Hampton Roads and Northeastern NC area. The center is a state-of-the-art facility opened in June 2020 and serves as the regional hub of the Sentara Cancer Network, coordinating physicians, specialists, and researchers to advance cancer detection, understanding, and treatment.
Responsibilities
- Managing care for patients in the Hampton Roads and Northeastern NC area.
Requirements
- Education: RN – Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree, Diploma, or Master's Level Degree.
- Certification/Licensure: Multistate compact or Virginia RN license in good standing; OCN or CBCN required within one year of hire; BLS required within 90 days of hire and maintained thereafter.
- Experience: Three (3) years of clinical RN experience required.

Pay
Base pay range for full-time employment: $89,544.00 – $136,468.80 annually. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs. Note: If an annual salary is posted, it is based on a full-time colleague working 2,080 hours annually.
