Palliative Care Medical Director

Role: Palliative Care Medical Director responsible for leading a regional, patient-centered palliative program across the Maryland–Washington, D.C. area. Responsibilities: Oversee interdisciplinary teams providing complex symptom management, advance care planning, and end-of-life care in hospital and ambulatory settings. Duties include direct patient care, quality and safety oversight, protocol development, staff and trainee education, and collaboration with system leaders to expand services. Qualifications & Skills: Leadership in palliative care with strong clinical expertise, excellent communication, and team collaboration skills. Ability to develop protocols, educate staff, and foster innovation within a mission-driven culture.
