Palliative Care Clinician Educator - Division of Hematology & Oncology (M67978)

Duties & Responsibilities

• Teaches medical students, residents, and fellows in the clinic and on the inpatient service.
• Participates in research activities, including publications, presentations, and membership in academic organizations.
• Engages in service activities aimed at reducing health disparities in the community served by Massey/VCU.
• Attends on the inpatient wards and consult service, and/or sees patients in the outpatient clinic focusing on supportive care.

Qualifications

• Board certified or eligible in Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Virginia.
• Demonstrated ability to work in and foster an environment of respect, professionalism, and civility with a diverse population.
