Position Overview
1st Shift: 6AM - 2PM Monday - Friday; Saturdays as needed
2nd Shift: 2PM - 10PM Monday - Friday; Saturdays as needed
3rd Shift: 10PM - 6AM Sunday- Thursday; Fridays as needed
Responsibilities
- Maintain packaging supplies to ensure availability for the shift; notify Material Handlers for delivery of additional material.
- Set up and operate palletizing shrink wrapper, case label, and code dating equipment according to production specifications.
- Monitor and change film, Zebra Printer, and date codes as needed.
- Check sealed boxes of finished product for labeling, taping, and completion according to customer specifications.
- Stack boxes neatly onto pallets in the correct pattern format per customer specifications.
- Shrink wrap finished pallets and label them correctly.
- Enter pallet data into the computer system (pallet count, product information, pallets used, etc.).
- Move full pallets to the correct bay in the Finished Goods cooler.
Requirements
- A minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalency is required.
- Previous forklift and material handling experience is strongly preferred.
Skills

- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and with changing environmental conditions.
- Must possess a strong attention to detail and the ability to work rapidly and with a high degree of accuracy.
- Must be able to tolerate working in cold temperatures for extended periods.
- Must be able to secure forklift certification upon placement in the role if not in possession of a valid forklift license issued by the company.
- Must possess good verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Must be able to read and understand written and spoken English language.
- Basic computer proficiency is required.
- Must possess strong math skills, with the ability to accurately add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Must possess the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions, and the ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are required.
Other Requirements
- Frequent standing for extended periods, bending, walking, sitting, talking or hearing.
- Repetitive hand, arm, and shoulder motions.
- Wearing slip-resistant composite-toed footwear.
- Working in a noisy environment.
- Wearing protective gear such as frocks, hairnets, gloves, goggles, face shields, rain suits, and rubber boots.
