About the role
The Pallet Mover is responsible for moving cardboard, empty pallets, and finished product between the warehouse and the production floor. This role requires adherence to safety protocols and the ability to perform additional duties such as those of a Line Inspector.
Responsibilities
- Clock in 15 minutes before the shift to discuss operations with the previous shift and prepare for the safety meeting.
- Compare labels to travelers for accuracy and ensure materials match the bill of materials.
- Write down any deviations from the traveler's specifications and report them to the warehouse.
- Make a list of remaining traveler balances and inform the warehouse when supplies are needed.
- Inspect incoming pallets for damage and bring only clean, unbroken ones to the molding floor.
- Remove stretch wrap from totes and wipe them clean before bringing them to the production floor.
- Unload cardboard totes and skids from the warehouse, ensuring they are free of dust.
- Use a pallet jack to move finished product from the production floor to the warehouse.
- Notify warehouse personnel when supplies are needed and assist with breaks and lunches.
Qualifications
- Self-motivated and organized.

- Basic mathematical skills.
- Ability to perform Line Inspector duties.
